DAY ONE: Leave Nairobi and drive to The Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary which is situated three quarters of the way between Nairobi and the coast. Halfway down we stop to have lunch at the Tsavo Inn. After 5 lunch we continue driving down to The Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary, on arrival we proceed on a game drive. Here because of its abundance of water, large herds of elephant and other plains game migrate to this area. We then drive on to Salt Lick lodge which is an allnight game viewing lodge and remarkable for its unusual architecture. A series of thatched towers sit high on stilts and overlook water holes. Take tea on the roof while you watch animals below and enjoy the spectacular scenery. In clear weather you have a fine view of Africa‟s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Dinner at the lodge followed by the excitement of a late night game vigil as animals come to the floodlit waterholes.
DAY TWO: After breakfast, drive through magnificent scenery and herds of wild animals to Amboseli National Park. The Park lies at the base of snow-capped Mt.Kilimanjaro and is renown for its large population of elephant. Amboseli is in the center of Maasai land and during your drive you will pass Maasai warriors and herdsmen who continue their nomadic life, apparently oblivious to the modern world. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge follow an evening game drive.
DAY THREE: Enjoy breakfast before driving back to Nairobi /Mombasa arriving at approximately 1300 hrs.
