From a grove of the acacia tortilis trees that gave the camp its name, Tortilis camp looks across the plains at Mt Kilimanjaro. Set in a 20-000 acre private concession bordering Amboseli National Park, Tortilis has a reputation for charm and attention to detail.
There are 17 spacious en-suite tents, made up of 9 doubles and 8 twins. The tents are raised on wooden decks and have large verandas. Meals are prepared from home recipes and are complimented by salads and herbs grown in the camp’s garden.
Totilis is commited to the environment and actively preserves the extended Amboseli area.
